Ok, I just bought an 87' Savage, got a great deal ($600.00), but needed a starter. The bike looks good, a little faded, but not too bad. Here is my dilema... I could pop-start the bike when I was waiting for the started to be rebuilt, got the new starter, and now the starter works fine, but the bike wont start. Just turns over. I have checked and cleaned the carb, It's getting a good spark, and everything appears ok. Why could I pop-start the bike, but now it won't start at all. What am I missing? Any gurus out there that can help. thanks.
